For more than 45 years, Keiser University has been dedicated to meeting the workforce needs of Florida. As one of the largest producers of nurses in Florida with graduates from 21 campuses, and a history of working with elected officials, community organizations, and fellow universities, Keiser University and our taskforce partners are committed to addressing the State’s impending nursing shortage. Solving the nursing shortage crisis is an important task which will require input from key stakeholders including legislators, community leaders, healthcare professionals, and educational institutions. As a taskforce, our goal is to meet, share our experiences with best practices, and develop potential solutions that can be implemented to begin addressing Florida’s nursing shortage.
